Attending Consultant - Emergency Medicine

Attending Consultant - Emergency Medicine is responsible for managing emergency department patients, critical cases, emergency stabilization, clinical decision-making, and emergency team coordination. The requires MBBS with DNB Emergency Medicine or Masters in Emergency Medicine qualification with 0 to 2 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of emergency medicine, emergency management, consulting, acute care, and patient safety.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess and manage emergency department patients promptly.
• Provide initial diagnosis, stabilization, and emergency treatment.
• Handle trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and medical emergencies.
• Lead emergency response and coordinate with ICU or specialty teams.
• Review investigations, imaging, and laboratory reports quickly.
• Supervise emergency procedures and critical care interventions.
• Maintain accurate emergency case records and clinical documentation.
• Support CPR, code blue, airway management, and resuscitation cases.
• Counsel patients and attendants during emergency situations.
• Decide admission, observation, transfer, referral, or discharge under protocol.
• Follow emergency department safety and infection control standards.
• Deliver fast, ethical, and patient-focused emergency medical care.
