Gas Manifold Technician

Gas Manifold Technician is responsible for supporting medical gas pipeline systems, oxygen plant operations, gas manifold monitoring, filter checks, and basic maintenance. The requires ITI or Diploma preferred qualification with 0 to 1 year of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of gas manifold systems, oxygen plant operations, filter maintenance, fitness checks, and hospital engineering support.

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital gas manifold and oxygen supply systems.
• Check pressure levels, gas flow, filters, and system functioning.
• Support oxygen plant operation and routine inspection activities.
• Assist in preventive maintenance of gas pipeline and manifold systems.
• Report leakage, pressure drop, or technical issues immediately.
• Maintain gas manifold readings, records, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with engineering, biomedical, and clinical departments.
• Ensure medical gas systems remain available for patient care areas.
• Follow safety rules while handling gas systems and equipment.
• Support emergency oxygen supply requirements when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around oxygen plant areas.
• Provide reliable technical support for medical gas operations.
