Receptionist

BT Savani Kidney Hospital is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to manage front desk operations and ensure a smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, handling inquiries, and coordinating appointments while maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants in a courteous and professional manner
• Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and check-in/check-out processes
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, andect them to the appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the hospital system
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient flow
• Provide information regarding hospital services, procedures, and billing processes
• Handle billing-related queries and support front office financial transactions if required
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Address patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate authority when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies

Our Story

The need for a dedicated kidney hospital in Saurashtra became evident as a significant number of patients were traveling to Ahmedabad and Nadiad for treatment. Recognizing this gap, Dr. Pradip Kansagra envisioned a tertiary care kidney hospital in Rajkot.

With the support of philanthropists including Late Shree Devjibhai Patel, Shree Rameshbhai Patel, Shree Jayantibhai Faldu, and Dr. Vivek Joshi, the “Saurashtra Kidney Research Institute” was established as a charitable trust. The project gained momentum with generous contributions from society, including a major donation by Late Shree Bhagwanjibhai T. Savani.

Construction began in 1998 and was completed in 2002, with the hospital formally inaugurated on 2nd February 2003. Over the years, through the dedication of trustees, doctors, and staff, the hospital has built a strong reputation across Gujarat and India.
