The Medical Officer will manage patient assessment, OPD and emergency care, hospital rounds, clinical diagnosis support, consultant coordination, treatment monitoring, and medical documentation at Urocare Kidney Hospital, Rajkot. This requires MBBS, BAMS, or BHMS qualification preferred. There are 2 vacancies for this position.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend OPD, IPD, emergency, ward, ICU, dialysis, and assigned clinical patients during duty hours.
- Take patient history, conduct clinical examination, and support diagnosis under consultant guidance.
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, medication response, symptoms, and clinical progress.
- Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, dialysis unit, billing, and administration teams.
- Respond to emergency calls and escalate critical cases promptly to senior doctors or consultants.
- Review reports and inform seniors about abnormal or urgent clinical findings.
- Support patient admission, discharge, referral, transfer, and movement processes.
- Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance regarding treatment and follow-up care.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
- Deliver safe, timely, ethical, and professional medical support.
