The Resident Urology will support urology OPD, IPD, emergency care, surgical assistance, laparoscopy support, critical care coordination, and clinical documentation at Fortis Hospitals, New Delhi. This requires MS, DNB Urology, or General Surgery qualification with 0–3 years of experience in urology, laparoscopy, critical care, and clinical care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend urology OPD, IPD, emergency, ward, OT, and referred patients under consultant guidance.
- Assist in evaluation of kidney stones, urinary infections, prostate disorders, bladder concerns, urinary retention, and hematuria.
- Review urine reports, renal function tests, ultrasound, CT scan, blood reports, and patient history.
- Support urology procedures, laparoscopy-assisted care, catheterization support, and post-operative monitoring.
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, discharges, and patient reviews.
- Coordinate with OT, ICU, nursing, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and billing teams.
- Maintain case sheets, progress notes, procedure records, prescriptions, consent support, and discharge documentation.
- Monitor post-operative urology patients for pain, urine output, bleeding, infection signs, drains, and recovery.
- Respond to urgent urology cases and escalate critical patients promptly.
- Counsel patients and attendants under senior guidance regarding procedure preparation and follow-up care.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, surgical safety, and documentation standards.
- Deliver safe, timely, and patient-focused urology care support.
