The Registrar Anaesthesiology will support anaesthesia care, pre-operative assessment, perioperative monitoring, airway management, post-operative recovery, and anaesthesia documentation at Fortis Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MD or DNB Anaesthesiology qualification with 0–2 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in pre-anaesthesia check-up and evaluate patient fitness before surgery or procedure.
- Support anaesthesia planning based on patient history, clinical condition, surgical requirement, and consultant guidance.
- Assist in administering general, regional, spinal, epidural, or local anaesthesia as per hospital protocol.
- Monitor airway, vitals, ECG, oxygenation, fluids, medication response, pain level, and recovery status during procedures.
- Support airway management, intubation assistance, resuscitation, pain control, and post-operative recovery care.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anaesthesia technicians, ICU, emergency, pharmacy, and recovery room teams.
- Maintain anaesthesia records, PAC notes, consent forms, drug usage details, and procedure documentation.
- Report complications, adverse reactions, airway difficulty, or unstable patient condition promptly.
- Follow OT safety, infection control, anaesthesia machine safety, medication safety, and patient safety standards.
- Support safe patient shifting from OT to recovery, ICU, or ward.
- Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality, and professional communication.
- Deliver safe, reliable, and patient-focused anaesthesia support.
