Technical Officer-Biochemistry

The Junior Technical Officer / Technical Officer in Biochemistry will support accurate laboratory testing, sample handling, analyzer operation, and quality control activities. This requires knowledge of clinical biochemistry, laboratory documentation, reagent handling, and patient safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process biochemistry samples.
• Conduct biochemical tests using approved laboratory procedures.
• Operate analyzers and maintain instrument usage logs.
• Prepare reagents, controls, and calibration materials when required.
• Maintain QC records, sample registers, and test documentation.
• Follow GLP, safety, infection control, and data integrity practices.
• Report test delays, sample issues, or abnormal findings to seniors.
• Support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with laboratory, collection, and reporting teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely test result processing.
