Radiology Registrar

The Radiology Registrar will support radiology consultants in diagnostic imaging, reporting assistance, procedure coordination, patient preparation, imaging review, and departmental documentation at Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS with MD/DNB Radiology or candidates pursuing MD/DNB Radiology, with 1–4 years of experience in radiology services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists in reviewing X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other imaging studies.
• Support diagnostic reporting, patient history review, and imaging protocol selection.
• Coordinate with radiology technicians, clinicians, emergency, ICU, and nursing teams.
• Assist in contrast studies, image-guided procedures, and emergency imaging coordination.
• Communicate urgent or critical imaging findings to seniors promptly.
• Maintain radiology reports, patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
• Ensure radiation safety, contrast safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Guide patients regarding imaging procedures under senior supervision.
• Support quality checks, image quality improvement, and departmental workflow.
• Participate in case discussions, academic learning, and reporting review sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient reports and clinical information.
• Ensure timely and accurate radiology department support.
