Anesthesia Registrar

The Anesthesia Registrar will support anesthesia consultants in pre-anesthesia evaluation, OT procedures, intraoperative monitoring, recovery care, emergency airway management, and clinical documentation at Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS with MD/DNB Anesthesiology or candidates pursuing MD/DNB Anesthesiology, with 1–4 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-anesthesia checkups and surgical fitness assessment.
• Support anesthesia planning according to patient condition and procedure type.
• Assist in administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgeries and procedures.
• Monitor airway, vitals, fluids, pain control, and intraoperative patient status.
• Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, ICU, recovery, and nursing teams.
• Maintain anesthesia records, consent documentation, and post-operative notes.
• Support recovery room monitoring and post-anesthesia care.
• Respond to emergency airway, code blue, and critical care support requirements.
• Follow anesthesia safety, OT protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate patient updates to seniors and clinical teams as per hospital process.
• Support OT efficiency, case readiness, and perioperative care coordination.
• Ensure safe, ethical, and protocol-based anesthesia support.
