Pediatric Registrar

The Pediatric Registrar will support pediatric consultants in OPD, IPD, emergency, ward, NICU coordination, clinical documentation, and child healthcare management at Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS with MD/DNB Pediatrics or candidates pursuing MD/DNB Pediatrics, with 1–3 years of experience. The candidate should have strong pediatric clinical knowledge, emergency response ability, and parent counselling skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage pediatric patients in OPD, IPD, emergency, ward, and NICU areas.
• Assist pediatric consultants during rounds, procedures, and treatment planning.
• Monitor child vitals, symptoms, growth, feeding, oxygen support, reports, and treatment response.
• Support neonatal resuscitation, pediatric emergency care, and stabilization when required.
• Maintain pediatric notes, treatment charts, prescriptions, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, NICU, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and emergency teams.
• Review investigation reports and escalate critical findings promptly.
• Counsel parents regarding child condition, medicines, feeding, vaccination, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate clinical handover between shifts and departments.
• Follow pediatric safety, infection control, medication safety, and child-friendly care standards.
• Participate in case discussions, academic rounds, and clinical meetings.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality pediatric care support.
