The Resident Medical Officer will be responsible for patient assessment, ward rounds, emergency support, clinical monitoring, consultant coordination, documentation, and patient care across Critical Care, Orthopaedics, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Joint Replacement, and Medical Oncology departments at BLK-Max Hospital, Kanpur. This requires MBBS qualification with 0–7 years of experience in hospital-based clinical care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend OPD, IPD, emergency, ICU, ward, and assigned clinical patients.
- Take patient history, conduct examination, and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, treatment response, and clinical progress.
- Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, and billing teams.
- Respond to emergency calls and escalate critical cases promptly.
- Review investigation reports and inform seniors about abnormal findings.
- Support patient care in critical care, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, joint replacement, and oncology areas.
- Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Deliver safe, timely, and professional medical support.
