Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital standards, doctor instructions, and patient safety protocols. The requires clinical knowledge, compassion, discipline, and strong patient-care skills. The candidate should assist doctors, monitor patient health, administer medicines, maintain records, and support smooth nursing operations in the assigned department.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, condition changes, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, examinations, and emergency care.

• Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, and other healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and attendants about care instructions when required.
• Prepare patients for procedures, investigations, admissions, and discharge.
• Report critical patient changes immediately to senior nurses or doctors.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of nursing station and patient care areas.
• Support emergency response and basic life support activities when needed.
• Follow hospital policies, duty schedules, and professional nursing ethics.
