Manager On Duty

The Manager On Duty is responsible for supervising hospital operations during assigned shifts and ensuring smooth coordination between departments. The involves handling patient concerns, staff coordination, emergency support, administrative follow-ups, and operational issue resolution. The candidate should ensure that hospital services run efficiently, patient experience remains positive, and all departments follow hospital policies and service standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise hospital operations during assigned duty hours.
• Coordinate with OPD, IPD, emergency, nursing, billing, and support departments.
• Handle patient complaints, service delays, and operational issues promptly.
• Ensure smooth communication between patients, attendants, doctors, and staff.
• Monitor hospital discipline, cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
• Support emergency and critical patient coordination whenever required.
• Check staff availability and escalate manpower issues to management.
• Ensure hospital SOPs and administrative protocols are followed during duty hours.
• Take rounds of key hospital areas and identify operational gaps.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, and patient movement when needed.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate important issues to senior management.
• Support front office and billing teams during high patient flow.
• Maintain professional behavior while handling sensitive situations.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and timely hospital support.
