Job Description
The Officer – QA will be responsible for handling line clearance, in-process quality checks, sampling, and batch record review to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. The involves supporting validation activities, Annual Product Quality Review (APQR), investigations, and dispatch monitoring. The candidate will also ensure proper verification of raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM), oversee instrument calibration, and maintain accurate QA documentation while driving adherence to quality systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform line clearance and ensure readiness of production areas before batch initiation.
- Conduct in-process QA checks and monitor critical process parameters.
- Carry out sampling of raw materials, in-process, and finished products as per SOPs.
- Review batch manufacturing and batch packing records for accuracy and compliance.
- Support validation activities including process, cleaning, and equipment validation.
- Assist in preparation and review of Annual Product Quality Review (APQR).
- Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and quality incidents.
- Implement and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Ensure proper verification and release of raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM).
- Monitor dispatch activities and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Ensure timely calibration and qualification of instruments and equipment.
- Maintain control of QA documentation including SOPs, formats, and records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Coordinate with production, QC, and other departments for quality-related activities.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all quality documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance of manufacturing and QA areas.
- Monitor environmental conditions and ensure adherence to standards.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on QA procedures and compliance.
- Maintain logs, reports, and MIS for quality tracking and management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement programs.
- Stay updated with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
