Job Description
The Quality Control professional will be responsible for conducting laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques. This requires strong technical expertise, accuracy, and adherence to GMP and GLP standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform instrumentation analysis using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, and other analytical equipment.
- Conduct chemical and microbiological testing as per standard procedures.
- Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
- Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
- Monitor and report out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
- Support method development, validation, and verification activities.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and microbiological assessments.
- Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and storage of test materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the laboratory.
- Coordinate with QA and production teams for quality-related activities.
- Participate in stability studies and maintain stability data records.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Assist in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all testing procedures.
- Stay updated with advancements in analytical and testing methodologies.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all laboratory activities.
- Contribute to maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
