Production - Sterile - Senior Executive

The Production – Sterile Senior Executive will be responsible for managing sterile manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and sterility in production operations. The involves hands-on supervision, team leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production targets efficiently and safely.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all sterile manufacturing operations, including aseptic filling, compounding, filtration, lyophilization, and vial/ampoule processing.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, USFDA, MHRA, WHO, and EU-GMP guidelines in sterile manufacturing areas.
• Maintain sterility assurance through correct cleanroom practices, gowning procedures, and aseptic handling techniques.
• Conduct in-process monitoring and checks to verify process parameters, batch integrity, and product quality.
• Review and approve Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packaging Records (BPR), deviation reports, and related documentation.
• Support media fill validation exercises, sterility testing, and equipment qualification protocols.
• entify process deviations, aseptic failures, or contamination risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate closely with QA, QC, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor production staff on aseptic techniques, sterile handling, gowning procedures, and SOP compliance.
• Participate in troubleshooting of equipment issues, process bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies to enhance productivity.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of sterile materials, samples, and hazardous substances.
• Maintain a clean and compliant sterile manufacturing environment through daily monitoring, housekeeping, and adherence to SOPs.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explaining sterile manufacturing processes.
• Monitor equipment calibration, preventive maintenance schedules, and utility performance relevant to sterile production.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to reduce rejection rates, enhance yield, and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure timely reporting of production metrics, sterility assurance results, and batch performance to the production head.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within the sterile manufacturing team.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing.
