Executive - QC

The Executive – QC will be responsible for overseeing calibration and maintenance of QC instruments, reviewing analytical records and finished product reports, and ensuring effective management of reference standards, chemicals, and consumables. The involves preparing and updating SOPs/STPs, maintaining GLP-compliant laboratory practices, coordinating training activities, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards across QC operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee calibration, qualification, and maintenance of QC instruments and equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning and timely servicing of analytical instruments.
• Review analytical records, raw data, and finished product reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage reference standards, working standards, chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory control of laboratory materials.
• Prepare, review, and update SOPs, STPs, and other quality documents.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and organization as per quality standards.
• Coordinate and support training programs for QC personnel.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality procedures across all QC activities.
• Monitor environmental conditions and ensure compliance with lab standards.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
• Support CAPA implementation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with QA, production, and regulatory teams for quality-related matters.
• Maintain proper documentation, logs, and audit-ready records.
• Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper disposal of laboratory waste.
• Support method validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory levels to avoid shortages.
• Prepare MIS reports and quality summaries for management review.
• Stay updated with regulatory guidelines, analytical techniques, and industry best practices.
