Job Description
The Manager – IT Infrastructure will be responsible for managing end-to-end IT infrastructure operations, ensuring optimal system performance, data security, and high availability. The involves implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, minimizing downtime, and ensuring seamless IT operations. The candidate will coordinate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams to maintain compliance, strengthen security frameworks, and support business continuity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage complete IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and systems.
- Ensure high system availability, performance, and minimal downtime across all operations.
- Implement and monitor data security measures, access controls, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Manage backup systems and ensure disaster recovery readiness and testing.
- Monitor IT systems proactively and resolve issues before they impact operations.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and capacity planning.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT support, procurement, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and audit requirements.
- Lead IT audits and coordinate with internal/external auditors for compliance checks.
- Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
- Manage network security including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of data centers, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT support teams.
- Handle incident management, escalation, and root cause analysis.
- Optimize IT resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- Support business continuity planning and IT risk management initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integrations and IT support.
- Ensure timely resolution of user issues and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor system logs, performance metrics, and security alerts regularly.
- Drive automation and process improvements in IT operations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
