Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse - Male will be responsible for providing bedside nursing care, patient monitoring, medication administration, emergency support, and clinical documentation across assigned hospital departments. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification, clinical nursing skills, discipline, infection control knowledge, and patient-friendly communication. The candidate will support safe, timely, and compassionate patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in assigned wards or departments.
• Monitor patient vitals, clinical condition, intake-output, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency care, and patient assessment.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, handover records, and patient documentation.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, transfers, admissions, and discharge.
• Follow infection control, biomedical waste, hand hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
• Report abnormal findings, incidents, complaints, or safety concerns to seniors.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and administration.
• Support emergency care and basic life support when required.
• Educate patients and relatives about medicines, diet, care, and follow-up.
• Deliver ethical, respectful, and professional nursing care.
