Staff Nurse

Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting doctors during treatments and procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort within the healthcare facility. The involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and supporting smooth clinical operations. The candidate will play a vital in delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining healthcare standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist doctors during patient examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts, and treatment documentation.
• Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, and emotional support throughout hospitalization.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in patient care areas.
• Assist in patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, and other healthcare departments for patient care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical care situations.
• Educate patients and family members regarding medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
• Monitor stock availability of nursing supplies and report shortages when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
• Participate in shift handovers, ward rounds, and departmental meetings.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate and patient-centered care at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive healthcare environment.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and nursing audits when required.
• Perform additional nursing and patient care duties assigned by supervisors or management.
