Senior Executive - QC

The Senior Executive – QC will be responsible for overseeing analytical testing, sampling, and coordination with QA for product release. The involves managing wet and instrumental analysis, ensuring timely dispatch of products, and maintaining accurate documentation. The candidate will also provide technical support and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards while contributing to continuous improvement in QC processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute analysis (wet chemistry and GC) to meet dispatch timelines and customer requirements.
• Perform wet analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance for timely release of products.
• Ensure proper sampling of all materials as per approved procedures.
• Raise and track sampling requests with complete and accurate documentation.
• Prepare and maintain packing material specifications and update them in SAP.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC and other lab equipment.
• Provide technical and IT-related support for QC systems and laboratory operations.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor laboratory activities to ensure timely completion of analysis.
• Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and samples.
• Maintain laboratory safety and adhere to EHS guidelines.
• Manage inventory of reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality control processes.
• Train and guide junior team members on QC procedures and best practices.
• Ensure readiness for customer audits and compliance reviews.
