Senior Executive-MDM

The Senior Executive – MDM will be responsible for managing master data in SAP systems, supporting global sites, and ensuring adherence to data governance standards. The involves handling data creation and changes, maintaining data quality, supporting SAP projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and usage of master data across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as Global Master Data SME and provide support to sites across US, UK, Europe, and Canada.
• Create, update, and maintain master data in SAP including Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing master.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across all systems.
• Understand the impact of master data on downstream business processes and operations.
• Perform data validation, policy checks, and quality checks for all new and change requests.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain missing information, approvals, and corrections.
• Ensure timely processing of master data requests within defined SLAs (1 working day turnaround).
• Maintain 100% accuracy and compliance in all master data transactions.
• Develop and enhance data standards, governance policies, and procedures for master data domains.
• entify opportunities for automation, system controls, and process standardization.
• Conduct periodic review and updates of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support SAP implementation projects including testing, data migration, and data cleansing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Sales, BD, IT, and Manufacturing.
• Resolve master issues and ensure smooth business operations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report data quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data management practices.
• Ensure data security, confidentiality, and adherence to governance frameworks.
• Train and guide end users on master data processes and best practices.
• Support global data harmonization and standardization initiatives.
