Associate General Manager- Supply Chain

The Associate General Manager – Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for OPEX categories, managing supplier relationships, and driving procurement excellence. The involves close collaboration with site heads, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and risk-managed sourcing decisions. The candidate will also focus on continuous improvement, spend optimization, and supply chain efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies aligned with business and cost objectives.
• Act as a strategic partner to Site Heads, Department Heads, Finance, and Legal teams.
• business requirements into effective sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, risk, and service.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFI, RFP, RFQ, and e-auctions.
• Design, negotiate, and manage long-term contracts and framework agreements.
• Establish and manage preferred supplier lists and procurement catalogs.
• Drive compliance and efficiency in procurement processes and sourcing modules.
• Utilize spend analytics toentify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement.
• Implement cost reduction strategies such as supplier consolidation, demand management, and specification standardization.
• Track, validate, and report savings in coordination with finance teams.
• entify and mitigate supplier, commercial, and operational risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to support business operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration for procurement planning and execution.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
