Wet Lab Technician

Job Description:

Zydus Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Wet Lab Technician (Genomic Lab) to manage and perform laboratory experiments related to genetics and genomic medicine. The candidate will be responsible for handling biological samples, conducting molecular assays, maintaining lab standards, and supporting research and diagnostic activities. The requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform wet lab experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and other molecular techniques
• Handle, process, and store biological samples while ensuring sample integrity
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, results, and reports
• Support genomic research, testing, and diagnostic procedures
• Monitor inventory of lab reagents, consumables, and ensure timely replenishment
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth laboratory operations
• Assist in validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of laboratory processes
• Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal and infection control practices
• Stay updated with advancements in genomic technologies and laboratory practices
