Lab Technician

Job Description

Zydus Hospitals is seeking for a Lab Technician to support the pathology department by performing accurate diagnostic tests and ensuring smooth laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling specimens, operating laboratory instruments, maintaining quality standards, and delivering timely and reliable test results. The requires adherence to standard operating procedures, quality control protocols, and safety guidelines while working closely with pathologists and healthcare teams to ensure effective patient diagnosis and care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per SOPs
• Handle, label, and process specimens accurately
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Ensure quality control and adherence to NABL/NABH standards
• Maintain proper documentation and timely reporting of results
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of lab supplies
• Follow safety protocols and infection control practices
• Assist in troubleshooting and equipment calibration
• Coordinate with pathologists and lab team for smooth operations
