Job Description

Skilled Bioinformatics Data Analyst responsible for analyzing biological and genomic data to support research, clinical studies, and biotechnology initiatives. Experienced in data mining, statistical analysis, bioinformatics tools, and interpretation of complex biological datasets. Adept at handling sequencing data, generating actionable insights, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with research, laboratory, and cross-functional teams to drive scientific discoveries and decision-making.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze genomic, proteomic, and biological datasets using bioinformatics tools and techniques.
  • Process, clean, and validate large-scale biological and sequencing data.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and biological insights.
  • Interpret next-generation sequencing (NGS) and related molecular data.
  • Develop and optimize bioinformatics workflows and data analysis pipelines.
  • Support research teams with data interpretation for experiments and clinical studies.
  • Generate reports, visualizations, and summaries of analytical findings.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, and accuracy across bioinformatics projects.
  • Collaborate with scientists, laboratory teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage databases related to genomic and biological information.
  • Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and technical issues in datasets.
  • Ensure compliance with data handling, research, and regulatory standards.
  • Support automation and continuous improvement of bioinformatics processes.
