Duty Medical Officer

Kauvery Hospital is seeking a Duty Medical Officer to manage day-to-day patient care, handle emergency cases, and ensure timely medical interventions. The involves assessing patients, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with hospital protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt medical care to patients in wards, OPD, and emergency settings
• Perform initial patient assessments, clinical examinations, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist consultants and senior doctors during procedures, rounds, and critical cases
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient history, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate clinical support
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for seamless patient care delivery
• Monitor patient progress and escalate any critical changes to senior clinicians
• Adhere strictly to hospital policies, ethical practices, and safety protocols
• Participate in rotational duty schedules, including night shifts and emergency coverage
• Maintain clear communication with patients and families regarding treatment and care plans
