Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapist will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services including prenatal and postnatal care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and patient education. This requires strong clinical expertise, patient interaction skills, and the ability to design personalized treatment plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation plans for patients.
• Deliver specialized prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy services.
• Educate patients on childbirth preparation, parenthood, and physical wellness.
• Assess and treat musculoskeletal discomforts and conditions during pregnancy.
• Provide postnatal exercises and recovery programs for new mothers.
• Teach relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and positioning for labor support.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and monitor patient progress regularly.
• Assist patients with mobility and walking, ensuring safety and proper techniques.
• Educate patients on correct posture, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
• Conduct OPD consultations and manage scheduled patient appointments.
• Visit labor delivery rooms (LDR) and guide patients with Lamaze techniques.
• Address women’s health concerns such as pelvic pain, lymphedema, osteoporosis, and postpartum recovery.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient condition and goals.
• Monitor treatment progress and modify therapy plans as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per NABH standards.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Use physiotherapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Provide counseling and motivation to patients for faster recovery.
• Participate in awareness programs, workshops, and health camps.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of physiotherapy equipment and workspace.
• Stay updated with latest physiotherapy techniques and best practices.
