Front Desk Executive

The Front Desk Executive will be responsible for managing patient reception, registration, appointment scheduling, inquiry handling, billing coordination, and patient guidance in an eye hospital environment. This requires good communication skills, computer knowledge, professional behavior, and a patient-friendly approach. The candidate will ensure smooth front desk operations, proper coordination with hospital departments, and a positive first impression for patients and visitors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, visitors, and attendants with polite and professional communication.
• Handle patient registration, appointment booking, and OPD coordination.
• Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about doctors, timings, and services.
• Guide patients to consultation rooms, diagnostics, billing, pharmacy, optical, and counselling areas.
• Maintain appointment schedules, patient records, visitor entries, and front office documentation.
• Verify patient details, contact numbers, and required documents during registration.
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, nurses, billing, diagnostics, and administration teams.
• Manage patient waiting flow and reduce delays through timely coordination.
• Handle patient queries and escalate complaints to seniors when required.
• Support payment collection, receipt generation, and billing-related assistance when assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
• Ensure reception area remains clean, organized, and patient-friendly.
• Follow hospital communication protocols, service standards, and front office SOPs.
• Maintain professional grooming, discipline, and helpful behavior throughout duty.
• Create a positive first experience for every patient and visitor.
