Job Description
MGM Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dentist to provide comprehensive oral healthcare services, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and promote preventive dental care. The involves performing dental procedures, patient counseling, and ensuring high standards of clinical care and hygiene.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Perform routine and advanced dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and restorations.
- Provide preventive dental care including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Diagnose and treat gum diseases, cavities, and other oral infections.
- Take and interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic records.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Perform minor oral surgical procedures when required.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and support staff for smooth workflow.
- Recommend and fit prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and clinical safety protocols.
- Participate in dental health camps and community outreach programs.
- Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and modern treatment techniques.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and ethical medical practices.
- Provide counseling on diet, lifestyle, and habits affecting oral health.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, comfort, and satisfaction.
