Job Description

Senior Clinical Associate - Emergency Medicine is responsible for providing advanced emergency clinical support, assisting in critical case management, supervising patient flow, maintaining documentation, and coordinating urgent care with multiple departments. The requires MBBS, MD, or DNB qualification with 4 to 7 years of experience. Candidates should have strong emergency care knowledge, quick decision support ability, documentation discipline, and patient safety focus.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Support emergency medicine consultants in critical and high-priority cases.
  • Conduct detailed emergency assessment and document patient condition.
  • Assist in triage supervision, stabilization, and urgent treatment coordination.
  • Manage workflow for trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, sepsis, stroke, poisoning, and acute cases.
  • Monitor vitals, ECG, ABG, lab reports, imaging, and treatment response.
  • Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, lab, blood bank, nursing, and specialty consultants.
  • Assist in life-saving procedures, CPR, code blue, and resuscitation support.
  • Maintain accurate emergency records, medico-legal documents, prescriptions, and clinical notes.
  • Support patient admission, transfer, referral, observation, and discharge planning.
  • Guide junior clinical team members in routine emergency patient workflow.
  • Ensure readiness of emergency equipment, crash cart, and critical supplies.
  • Identify deterioration early and escalate immediately to senior doctors.
  • Follow emergency protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in emergency audits, case reviews, handovers, and quality activities.
  • Deliver fast, ethical, and patient-focused emergency care support.
