Clinical Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Clinical Assistant - Emergency Medicine is responsible for supporting emergency department doctors in triage, patient assessment, stabilization, documentation, and urgent care coordination. The requires MBBS, MD, or DNB qualification with 0 to 5 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of emergency medicine, trauma care, acute clinical assessment, resuscitation support, and hospital emergency workflow.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist emergency medicine consultants during patient evaluation and treatment.
• Support triage and prioritization of emergency patients.
• Take patient history, record symptoms, and document emergency findings.
• Monitor patients with trauma, chest pain, breathing difficulty, fever, poisoning, shock, and acute illness.
• Support initial stabilization and emergency interventions under supervision.
• Review ECG, lab results, imaging, vitals, and clinical condition updates.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, nursing, and specialty consultants.
• Maintain emergency case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes, and medico-legal documentation.
• Assist during CPR, code blue, resuscitation, and emergency procedures.
• Support admission, transfer, referral, observation, and discharge coordination.
• Communicate basic instructions to patients and attendants under doctor guidance.
• Ensure emergency equipment and essential supplies are available.
• Follow infection control, emergency protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in emergency handovers and clinical case discussions.
• Provide prompt, organized, and patient-focused emergency care support.
