Senior Clinical Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Senior Clinical Assistant - Emergency Medicine is responsible for supporting senior emergency physicians in acute patient care, triage supervision, emergency stabilization, documentation, and emergency workflow coordination. The requires MBBS, MD, or DNB qualification with 5 to 7 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of emergency protocols, trauma management, resuscitation support, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support emergency consultants in managing acute and critical patients.
• Assist in triage and prioritization of emergency cases.
• Perform preliminary clinical assessment and document patient condition.
• Support management of trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, stroke, poisoning, and sepsis.
• Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, clinical progress, and treatment response.
• Assist in stabilization, emergency procedures, and urgent care interventions.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, lab, nursing, blood bank, and specialty teams.
• Maintain accurate emergency notes, case sheets, prescriptions, and medico-legal documents.
• Participate in CPR, code blue, resuscitation, and emergency response activities.
• Support patient admission, transfer, referral, discharge, and observation workflow.
• Guide junior clinical support staff in routine emergency workflow when needed.
• Ensure emergency equipment, medicines, and crash cart readiness.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and emergency department protocols.
• Participate in handovers, emergency audits, and clinical reviews.
• Deliver prompt, disciplined, and compassionate emergency medical support.
