Registrar - Orthopaedics

The Registrar - Orthopaedics will support orthopaedic patient care, trauma assessment, fracture management, consultant rounds, surgical planning, post-operative monitoring, and clinical documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MBBS with MS, DNB, or D.Ortho in Orthopaedics with 0–3 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend orthopaedic OPD, IPD, emergency, OT, and ward patients.
• Assess trauma, fracture, joint pain, spine conditions, arthritis, and musculoskeletal cases.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, surgeries, and post-operative care.
• Support plastering, dressing, wound care, fracture management, and patient movement.
• Review X-rays, MRI, CT, lab reports, and treatment progress.
• Maintain case sheets, surgical notes, consent records, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with OT, nursing, physiotherapy, radiology, pharmacy, and billing teams.
• Respond to orthopaedic emergencies and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
• Follow patient safety, surgical protocols, infection control, and documentation standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication.
• Deliver safe and organized orthopaedic care support.
