IDCCM Course Clinician

The IDCCM Course Clinician position is designed for doctors who want to develop advanced critical care medicine skills at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MD, DNB, diploma, or relevant clinical specialty qualification with 0–5 years of experience and focuses on ICU patient management, emergency care, ventilator support, critical care protocols, and supervised clinical learning.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support ICU and critical care patient management under senior intensivist guidance.
• Review vitals, ventilator parameters, oxygenation, ABG, lab reports, imaging, and clinical condition.
• Assist in critical care treatment planning, emergency stabilization, and clinical procedures.
• Support airway management, oxygen therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, sedation, and emergency interventions.
• Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, ICU nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology teams.
• Respond to shock, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, neurological deterioration, and critical emergencies.
• Maintain ICU records, progress notes, procedure records, prescriptions, and handover documentation.
• Participate in critical care training, case discussions, bedside teaching, and protocol-based learning.
• Follow ICU protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
• Communicate patient updates under senior guidance with families when required.
• Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient-centered care.
• Develop safe, evidence-based, and structured critical care medicine competency.
