Pediatric Registrar

The Pediatric Registrar will support pediatric consultation, child healthcare, newborn care, inpatient monitoring, emergency pediatric support, consultant rounds, and clinical documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MBBS with DCH, MD, or DNB Pediatrics preferred with 0–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend newborns, infants, children, and adolescents in OPD, IPD, emergency, NICU, PICU, or ward areas.
• Take pediatric history, perform clinical examination, and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assist pediatric consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor vitals, temperature, feeding, oxygen status, growth parameters, reports, and treatment response.
• Respond to pediatric emergencies and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Maintain pediatric case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes, vaccination records, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, NICU, PICU, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and billing teams.
• Counsel parents under consultant guidance regarding medicines, feeding, vaccination, and follow-up care.
• Follow pediatric safety, infection control, patient privacy, and documentation standards.
• Support child-friendly and family-centered care practices.
• Maintain professional communication with children, parents, and hospital teams.
• Deliver safe, ethical, and compassionate pediatric care support.
