Emergency Medical Officer

The Emergency Medical Officer will manage emergency patients, acute illness, trauma cases, triage support, stabilization, urgent treatment coordination, and emergency documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MBBS qualification with 0–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend emergency patients and support triage, assessment, and stabilization.
• Manage trauma, acute illness, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, poisoning, and critical emergency cases.
• Assist in CPR, resuscitation, airway support, suturing, dressing, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor vitals, ECG, oxygenation, lab reports, imaging findings, and patient response.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, ambulance, and billing teams.
• Maintain emergency records, prescriptions, consent forms, procedure notes, and handover documentation.
• Escalate critical cases and abnormal reports to consultants immediately.
• Support admission, referral, transfer, and emergency patient movement.
• Counsel patients and attendants under senior guidance during emergency situations.
• Follow ACLS, emergency protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
• Maintain calm communication and professional behaviour during emergency care.
• Deliver fast, safe, ethical, and patient-centered emergency medical support.
