Job Description
The Physician will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and ensuring effective medical management of acute and chronic conditions. The requires strong clinical expertise, decision-making skills, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as per clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging reports, and diagnostic tests.
- Provide emergency medical care and stabilize critically ill patients.
- Participate in ward rounds and coordinate with consultants and specialists.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, hospital policies, and safety standards.
- Participate in preventive healthcare and health awareness initiatives.
- Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care management.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and ethical medical practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education.
- Stay updated with advancements in internal medicine and clinical practices.
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to improving patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
