Senior Resident - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Senior Resident - Obstetrics and Gynaecology will provide clinical support in antenatal care, labour room, gynaecology cases, emergency care, and surgical assistance at Max Healthcare, Mohali. This requires MBBS with MS or DNB and 0–4 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage obstetrics and gynaecology patients in OPD, IPD, labour room, and emergency.
• Assist consultants in deliveries, surgeries, rounds, and treatment planning.
• Monitor maternal health, fetal wellbeing, investigations, and clinical progress.
• Prepare clinical records, consent forms, handover notes, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, NICU, OT, anesthesia, radiology, and blood bank teams.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Counsel patients and families regarding care process and follow-up.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and ethical clinical standards.
