Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy treatment to patients with physical limitations, pain, injuries, post-surgical conditions, neurological disorders, and rehabilitation needs. This requires strong clinical knowledge, MPT or BPT qualification, patient-handling skills, and compassionate communication. The candidate will develop individualized therapy plans, monitor recovery, educate patients, and coordinate with doctors to improve mobility and quality of life.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, pain level, posture, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient requirements.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, stretching, and mobility training.
• Support rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, sports injury, and chronic pain cases.
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans based on recovery response.
• Educate patients and attendants on home exercises, posture correction, precautions, and lifestyle guidance.
• Maintain accurate patient assessment records, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, consultants, and rehabilitation teams for patient care planning.
• Assist patients with gait training, balance improvement, strengthening, and functional independence.
• Ensure safe use of physiotherapy equipment, machines, and therapy accessories.
• Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection control, and clinical documentation.
• Handle OPD, IPD, ICU, and post-surgical physiotherapy cases as assigned.
• Identify red flags or clinical concerns and report them to the treating doctor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and proper arrangement of the physiotherapy area.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction, faster recovery, and improved rehabilitation outcomes.
