Biomedical Engineering - Junior Executive

We are looking for a Biomedical Engineering - Junior Executive for the Biomedical Engineering department at Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru. The candidate will support biomedical equipment maintenance, service coordination, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment documentation. The requires technical knowledge of biomedical devices, hospital equipment support, vendor coordination, and maintenance compliance.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment.
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance of hospital medical devices.
• Coordinate with vendors and service engineers for equipment repair and calibration.
• Maintain equipment history cards, service records, breakdown reports, and AMC details.
• Support clinical departments in safe and proper use of biomedical equipment.
• Attend equipment breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor equipment performance and report recurring technical issues.
• Assist in calibration, validation, and safety testing of medical equipment.
• Maintain inventory of biomedical assets and equipment location details.
• Ensure compliance with hospital biomedical engineering standards and safety policies.
• Support procurement evaluation and technical documentation when required.
• Train users on basic equipment handling, safety, and care practices.
• Track downtime and help reduce equipment-related service delays.
• Maintain coordination with ICU, OT, emergency, diagnostics, and ward departments.
