Pharmacy Store Executive

The Pharmacy Store Executive will be responsible for managing pharmacy store inventory, medicine stock, purchase entries, issue records, expiry monitoring, vendor coordination, and stock reconciliation. This requires B.Pharm or D.Pharm qualification, 2–3 years of experience, pharmacy knowledge, inventory discipline, and attention to detail. The candidate will ensure proper medicine availability, storage, documentation, and smooth hospital pharmacy store operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy store stock, medicine inventory, and daily store operations.
• Receive medicines, verify invoices, batch numbers, expiry dates, and quantities.
• Maintain purchase entries, stock registers, issue records, and inventory documentation.
• Issue medicines and consumables to pharmacy, wards, OT, ICU, and departments as required.
• Monitor minimum stock levels, fast-moving items, shortages, and reorder requirements.
• Track near-expiry, expired, damaged, and non-moving medicines and report to seniors.
• Arrange medicines properly by category, batch, expiry, and storage requirement.
• Ensure proper storage of temperature-sensitive, high-alert, and controlled medicines.
• Coordinate with vendors, purchase team, pharmacy staff, nursing units, and accounts.
• Support stock audits, physical verification, reconciliation, and inventory reports.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of pharmacy store area.
• Follow pharmacy regulations, hospital SOPs, and documentation standards.
• Handle returns, replacements, inward-outward entries, and stock transfer records.
• Ensure accurate inventory data in pharmacy software or manual registers.
• Support uninterrupted medicine availability for patient care and hospital departments.
