Operator - Water System -Electrical

The Operator – Water System / Electrical will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pharmaceutical water systems and electrical utilities. The involves routine system checks, parameter monitoring, preventive maintenance support, documentation, troubleshooting, and ensuring continuous availability of purified water, electrical supply, and utility services in compliance with GMP, safety, and plant engineering standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water systems such as purified water, RO, DM plant, soft water, and related utility systems.
• Check system parameters including pressure, flow, conductivity, temperature, and water quality indicators.
• Support routine electrical maintenance activities for panels, motors, pumps, lighting, and plant equipment.
• Maintain daily logbooks, utility records, checklist entries, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, GMP practices, and engineering instructions during operations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of water system and electrical equipment under supervision.
• Support preventive maintenance activities for pumps, valves, motors, electrical panels, and utility equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering officers for breakdowns, abnormal readings, and system alerts.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization support, and operational readiness of water systems.
• Monitor availability of utilities required for production, QC, and plant operations.
• Assist in calibration and validation support activities related to water and electrical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in utility areas, electrical rooms, and water system zones.
• Report leakage, electrical faults, equipment noise, vibration, or performance issues immediately.
• Follow lockout-tagout and electrical safety procedures during maintenance activities.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining proper records and following compliant work practices.
