Sr. Executive

The Sr. Executive  will be responsible for overseeing analytical testing activities, reviewing data, ensuring compliance with cGMP/GLP standards, and supporting quality systems. The includes handling advanced instruments, managing investigations, mentoring team members, and ensuring timely release of materials and products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform analysis of raw materials, packing materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples as per approved specifications.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, Dissolution apparatus, and other QC equipment.
• Review analytical data, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with ALCOA+ principles.
• Ensure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Manage and investigate Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), deviations, and laboratory incidents.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
• Support method validation, method verification, and method transfer activities as per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely calibration and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of analytical instruments and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain and review laboratory documentation including logbooks, worksheets, registers, and analytical reports.
• Coordinate with QA for batch release activities and ensure all testing is completed within defined timelines.
• Monitor laboratory environmental conditions and ensure compliance with specified limits.
• Ensure proper management of chemicals, reagents, standards, and reference materials including storage and inventory control.
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior analysts and chemists to enhance team capability and performance.
• Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
• Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste and compliance with EHS guidelines.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D teams for troubleshooting, investigations, and process improvements.
• Monitor laboratory KPIs such as turnaround time, right-first-time analysis, and compliance metrics.
• Ensure timely execution of stability studies and accurate documentation of results.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency, productivity, and quality systems.
• Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality of analytical results and reports.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacopeial standards (USP, IP, EP, BP) and regulatory guidelines.
• Support implementation of new technologies, instruments, and digital systems in the QC laboratory.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and discipline within the laboratory.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure seamless workflow and timely issue resolution.
