Kiran Multi Super Speciality Hospital & Research Center is seeking a knowledgeable and patient-focused Nutrition & Dietetics Executive to plan, implement, and monitor therapeutic diet programs for patients. The involves providing clinical nutrition support, developing customized diet plans, and collaborating with medical teams to improve patient recovery and overall health outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional status based on medical history and clinical conditions.
- Develop individualized diet plans for inpatients and outpatients as per physician recommendations.
- Provide therapeutic nutrition support for conditions such as diabetes, cardiac diseases, renal disorders, and critical illness.
- Monitor patient progress and modify diet plans as required for optimal outcomes.
- Conduct ward rounds to review patient dietary intake and compliance.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and clinical teams for integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on diet plans, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure proper implementation of prescribed diets in coordination with kitchen/food services.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, and nutritional value of meals served.
- Prepare and maintain detailed diet charts and patient nutrition records.
- Track calorie, protein, and nutrient intake for hospitalized patients.
- Ensure compliance with hospital dietary protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in patient counseling sessions for preventive health and wellness.
- Support ICU and critical care nutrition requirements when needed.
- Coordinate with catering and food service staff for timely meal delivery.
- Assist in nutrition-related audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with latest developments in clinical nutrition and dietetics practices.
