Junior Resident is responsible for supporting patient care, critical care monitoring, clinical procedures, documentation, and daily medical workflow under senior doctor supervision. The requires MBBS qualification with 1 to 4 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of patient care, critical care, healthcare research, monitoring, and clinical procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Attend patients under the supervision of senior doctors and consultants.
- Support OPD, IPD, emergency, and critical care patient management.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, treatment response, and progress.
- Assist during clinical procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and documentation.
- Review investigation reports and update senior doctors when required.
- Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and support departments.
- Support admission, transfer, discharge, and referral workflow.
- Participate in clinical research, audits, or data collection when assigned.
- Counsel patients and attendants about basic care instructions.
- Follow medication orders and treatment plans as directed.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Participate in duty handovers and clinical discussions.
- Report critical patient changes immediately to senior doctors.
- Deliver disciplined, ethical, and patient-focused clinical support.
