Senior House Officer is responsible for supporting clinical care, diagnostics, patient monitoring, endoscopy-related coordination, gastroenterology support, and hospital medical documentation. The requires MBBS with post-internship clinical experience and 1 to 2 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of basic diagnostics, nutrition, coding, gastroenterology, endoscopy, CME, and clinical procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support doctors in OPD, IPD, emergency, and specialty clinical care.
- Assess patient condition and document clinical findings accurately.
- Assist in basic diagnostic evaluation and clinical procedures.
- Support gastroenterology and endoscopy-related patient coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and update consultants when required.
- Review investigation reports and support treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate case records, progress notes, and documentation.
- Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and diagnostic departments.
- Support nutrition-related clinical assessment when required.
- Participate in CME, clinical learning, and departmental discussions.
- Assist in patient admission, transfer, discharge, and referral processes.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
- Counsel patients and attendants about basic care instructions.
- Report critical observations to senior doctors promptly.
- Maintain ethical and patient-centered medical practice.
