Clinical Trial Manager Oncology

The Clinical Trial Manager - Oncology will be responsible for managing oncology clinical trial activities, study timelines, site coordination, quality oversight, data flow, and compliance with GCP and sponsor requirements at Syneos Health, Pune. This requires 2–6 years of experience in clinical research, oncology trials, quality assurance, and data management, with strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned oncology clinical trials.
• Ensure studies are conducted as per protocol, GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clinical research associates, investigators, sites, sponsors, and vendors.
• Track study timelines, patient recruitment, site activation, monitoring visits, and deliverables.
• Review trial progress, site performance, data quality, and issue resolution status.
• Support study start-up, site selection, feasibility, ethics submissions, and documentation.
• Monitor trial risks and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and timelines.
• Coordinate with data management, medical monitoring, safety, regulatory, and QA teams.
• Prepare study status reports, dashboards, meeting updates, and sponsor communication.
• Ensure proper trial master file maintenance and inspection readiness.
• Support protocol deviation review, CAPA follow-up, and quality improvement actions.
• Provide guidance to site teams and internal clinical operations staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of study, patient, and sponsor information.
• Ensure timely, ethical, and compliant oncology trial execution.
