Clinical Scientific Advisor

The Clinical Scientific Advisor will support clinical research strategy, scientific review, GCP compliance, EDC oversight, clinical data interpretation, and study team guidance at Syneos Health, Pune. This requires 2–7 years of experience in clinical research, GCP, EDC systems, Agile project work, and clinical trial scientific support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and clinical support to clinical research teams.
• Review study protocols, clinical data, patient trends, and study documentation.
• Support GCP compliance and clinical trial quality across assigned studies.
• Work with EDC systems to review data, queries, and clinical information.
• Coordinate with clinical operations, medical monitoring, data management, safety, and sponsor teams.
• Identify clinical inconsistencies, protocol deviations, and data quality concerns.
• Participate in Agile project discussions, study meetings, and review sessions.
• Support development of clinical summaries, study reports, and scientific updates.
• Provide guidance on clinical interpretation and study-related scientific questions.
• Escalate patient safety concerns or critical findings to medical leads promptly.
• Support training of clinical teams on protocol and data review expectations.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and inspection readiness.
• Ensure confidentiality of clinical trial and patient information.
• Contribute to high-quality, compliant, and scientifically sound clinical research delivery.
