Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Apollo Hospitals is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support nuclear medicine imaging, PET, CT, SPECT, patient preparation, equipment handling, and diagnostic support. The candidate should have B.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology or relevant qualification. The requires technical accuracy, radiation safety awareness, patient care skills, and coordination with doctors and imaging teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as instructed.
• Support PET, CT, and SPECT imaging workflows.
• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine investigations.
• Handle imaging equipment safely and accurately.
• Follow radiation safety and protection protocols.
• Coordinate with nuclear medicine physicians and radiologists.
• Maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
• Ensure quality checks of equipment and imaging output.
• Explain procedure basics to patients and ensure comfort.
• Support isotope handling as per safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging areas.
• Follow hospital diagnostic and safety standards.
